December 27 - December 31

Not much progress lately.

#50 - Red Star
A nice upscale pub at the east end of Fells Point. Called by some a 'sports bar.' We went to watch the Eagles game on Monday Night Football, but decided to move over to another spot for the actual game. Murphy's Irish Red was on special. Monday - on Wolfe Street

#51 - The Waterfront (WTF)
A semi-dive right on the main drag in Fells. Drank a couple of PBRs and watched the game. Good food and a decent atmosphere. A strange band was setting up so we moved on for the second half of the football game. Monday - on Thames Street

#52 - Max's Taphouse (Max's on Broadway)
Formerly called Max's on Broadway to avoid confusion with another location by Camden Yards, this is now the only Max's in town. An excellent beer selection (some 800 on the menu), but sometimes this place has a weird vibe and this night was no exception. Crowd seemed to be an average of 23 years old. Maybe it's always been this way and I never noticed, but it's not really what i'm looking for in a pub these days. Monday - on Broadway

(not pictured, Charm City Cakes.)
#53 - The Dizz
Not to be confused with the Dizz Grand View (number 20 on the list) this is the original location in Remington. I came here to celebrate the end of year #32 and enjoyed myself then. It's located across the street from Charm City Cakes, and occasionally one can catch those folks there. I didn't notice the vintage adult cards around the bar mirror and the anatomically exaggerated sculpture on display. Friday 30 - on Remington Ave.
